Acupuncture uses very thin needles inserted into specific points in the body to relieve low back pain, neck pain, osteoarthritis pain, knee pain, headache and migraine. It can also relieve pain associated with tennis and golfer's elbow, sinus pain and congestion, and scar tissue buildup among other things.
Dry Needling
Like Acupuncture, Dry Needling uses thin needles inserted into trigger points in muscles to relieve pain, reduce muscle tension, and improve range of motion. A trigger point is a sensitive area inside a band of taut muscle fibers, commonly referred to as a "knot".
